The Anti-Ragging Committee at TKR Institute of Management & Science (TKRIMS) is committed to ensuring a safe, welcoming, and inclusive campus environment where every student can pursue academic excellence with dignity and confidence. The Committee functions in accordance with the regulations and guidelines issued by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and other statutory authorities to prevent and prohibit ragging in all its forms.

TKRIMS follows a zero-tolerance policy towards ragging and is dedicated to promoting a culture of mutual respect, discipline, equality, and responsible behaviour. The Committee works proactively to create awareness among students about the adverse effects of ragging while encouraging healthy interactions, camaraderie, and ethical conduct within the campus community.

Objectives of the Anti-Ragging Committee

• To prevent incidents of ragging through awareness and education.

Roles and Responsibilities

The Anti-Ragging Committee is entrusted with the responsibility of:

• Formulating and implementing anti-ragging policies in accordance with UGC guidelines.
• Monitoring the campus to prevent any form of ragging.
• Organizing awareness programmes for students, faculty, and parents.
• Receiving and addressing complaints related to ragging promptly and confidentially.
• Conducting inquiries into reported incidents with fairness and transparency.
• Recommending appropriate disciplinary action wherever necessary.
• Coordinating with college administration, faculty, student representatives, and other stakeholders to ensure a ragging-free campus.

Complaint Redressal Mechanism

The Anti-Ragging Committee provides a confidential, transparent, and accessible mechanism for reporting incidents of ragging. Students can approach the Committee without fear of intimidation or retaliation.

The complaint process includes:

1. Submission of the complaint to the Anti-Ragging Committee.
2. Preliminary review and acknowledgement of the complaint.
3. Confidential inquiry by the Committee.
4. Interaction with the concerned parties while ensuring fairness.
5. Submission of recommendations to the competent authority.
6. Appropriate disciplinary action and follow-up, in accordance with institutional policies and UGC regulations.

The identity and privacy of the complainant are protected throughout the process to ensure fairness and confidentiality.

Student Responsibilities

Every student at TKRIMS is expected to:
